Your contribution envelopes for the new year 2012 are available to be picked up after all the weekend masses. We have some boxes available for those who don’t have and would like to get one. You can also pick them up in the rectory during office hours.

KEYS AND SWORD AWARD BENEFIT.
The Third Annual Keys and Sword Award Benefit will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase (at $150.00 per person of which $90.00 is tax deductible). Ad packages are available upon request. Marriott Frenchman’s Reef Hotel reservations are available. To reserve one of the rooms blocked for this function, contact Charlotte Banks to secure special pricing of $165.00 per room, not per person (price is all inclusive of taxes and gratuities). We fly to your protection, most holy Mother of God;
please listen to our petitions and needs, and deliver us from
all dangers, ever glorious and blessed Virgin Mary.
Mary, our model and mother, by your obedience and
patience you have taught us how to be true children of God.
Please help us by your powerful assistance to overcome all our
weaknesses, and to fulfill perfectly our tasks in life.
By your compassionate aid may we ever stand in spirit with you beneath the cross of Christ so that we may also rejoice with you in yourdivine Son’s triumphant victory over sin and death.
In your maternal kindness help us to be faithful to prayers in the company of God’s Church as you were one with the Apostles in the upper room
as you waited for the promised Spirit of Pentecost.

The New Year
Dear Lord, as this New Year is born I give it to Thy hand, Content to walk by faith what paths I cannot understand.

Dear Lord, In the new year, we pray that You will guide us each new day in paths that are pleasing to You.
Lord, the new year gives us another chance to rededicate our lives to You, to study Your Word so that we know right from wrong and to act in accordance with Your commands.
Thank You for the sense of
direction, purpose and peace we get
from aligning our lives with Your Holy will.
We pray for the strength and the will to obey You each and every day of the new year, and when we fail, we pray for Your mercy, Your compassion, Your grace and Your love.
Help us in the new year to be Your faithful servants.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

AÑO NUEVO
Las puertas de un año nuevo de par en par se vuelven a brir;
y Dios fervientemente nuestras vidas quiere bendecir.
Su Palabra nos exhorta a lo que quedó atrás olvidar;
las cosas viejas pasaron aunque cicatrices puedan quedar.
Nuestro Padre una vez más nos ofrece un año nuevo recibir;
pero desea que le dejemos hacer Su voluntad en nuestro diario vivir.
A El nuestro futuro debemos encomendar;

ORACION DE AÑO NUEVO
Señor Dios, al empezar un año más te presento estos días, que sólo Tu sabes si llegaré a vivirlos.
Hoy te pido para mí y los míos,la paz, la salud y la alegría,
la fuerza y la prudencia.
Quiero vivir cada día con optimismo
y bondad, llevando a todaspartes un corazón lleno de
comprensión y paz.
Cierra Tu mis oídos a toda falsedad, y mis labios a palabras mentirosas,egoístas o hirientes.
Abre el cambio mi ser a todo lo que es bueno, que mi espíritu se llene de bondad y alegría,
para que cuantos conviven conmigo o se acerquen a mi, encuentren un poquito de Ti.
